In the video: screensavers, monuments to the writer, Gogol's letters are read by Anatoly Vasyanovych, experts talk about Gogol, the Gogol-Yanovsky estate in Poltava region, the M. Gogol museum-reserve, the Gogol museum in the village of Velyki Sorochyntsi, Dikanka, the "Postal Station" museum in the city of Nizhyn, Myrhorod. Fragments from the feature films "The Lost Diploma", "Evenings on a Farm near Dikanka", "The Night Before Christmas" are used.
