Reference: Svyatoslav Gordynsky is a Ukrainian artist, graphic artist, art critic, poet and translator, founder of the Association of Independent Ukrainian Artists in Lviv and the Association of Ukrainian Artists in America, an active organizer of the cultural life of the Ukrainian diaspora. In his work, he combined the Byzantine-Kyiv tradition with modern constructive achievements. Among his famous works are the paintings "Over the Dniester" and "Country Girl". He bequeathed his collection of works of art to the National Museum in Lviv.
