What to Do with Party Gifts?: An episode from the “Gart” youth studio

Special edition of the “Biznex” segment: a test for aspiring businesspeople titled “Time Orientation,” set to a music video by the band “Modern Talking”; market scenes: market stalls, a man paying with coupon-karbovanets, a butcher; a survey asking people if they are ready to become private entrepreneurs; street vending; sharing their views on privatization: V. Cherkas, manager of the “Optika” store; S.V. Platonov, CEO of the “Atlant” company; statistical data on the financial situation and standard of living of Ukrainians.

The next topic of the program: “What to Do with Gifts from the Party?” In the video: the Lenin Museum; N. Sheiko, director of the “Ukrainian House” Cultural and Educational Center, discusses the museum’s collections of artistic value; exhibits from the collection.

Next is a special segment dedicated to children’s health and the topic “The Economy of Ukraine Before 1917,” an advertisement for the film “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” and answers to the “Time Orientation” quiz.

The studio hosts are Hanna Bezulyk and Volodymyr Nechyporuk. The program continues with the theme of motherhood and childhood. A song performed by the band “Komu Vnyz,” and a charity concert organized by the “Ukrainian Financial Group,” with proceeds going to help orphaned children. The concert begins with dance couples. Performers include: the band “Hrono” and Taras Petrynenko, accompanied by a children’s choir, performing the song “God, Protect Ukraine”; Oksana Bilozir, Vitaliy Bilonozhko, Nazariy Yaremchuk, and others.
