Reference: The destruction of the Black Sea Fleet in 1918 was the deliberate destruction of warships on Lenin's personal order, directed primarily against the Ukrainian People's Republic (UNR), which at that time had legal rights to the fleet, confirmed by the decision of the commander Admiral Sablin and official documents. As a result, the UNR lost the battleship "Free Russia", nine destroyers and torpedo boats and about thirty transport ships.
