Reference: Gisela Tsypola is a Ukrainian opera singer (lyric-dramatic soprano), People's Artist of the USSR and the Ukrainian SSR, soloist of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater in 1969–1988. During her creative life, she performed over 50 opera roles, gaining world recognition primarily in the roles of Cio-Cio-San, Tosca, and Aida.
