A key figure in the so-called "Stanislavsky phenomenon." Author of the novels "Recreation", "Moscow Festival", "Perversion" and "Twelve Wedding Rings", collections of poetry and books of essays, the fifth Ukrainian translation of Shakespeare's "Hamlet", as well as the encyclopedic "Lexicon of Intimate Cities" - in total over twenty books that define the face of modern Ukrainian literature.
