Reference: Taras Chornovil is a Ukrainian politician, journalist, people's deputy of Ukraine of 3–6 convocations, son of Vyacheslav Chornovil. He held the positions of editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Chas", deputy head of the election headquarters of the Party of Regions, first deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Foreign Affairs. Known for a number of public scandals and critical assessments of his statements by opponents, in particular regarding his position during and after the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
