History of the Vyshnivets Palace

Ternopil Television. The June 25, 2004 issue of the program "Castles of Ternopil" is dedicated to the history of the Vyshnivets Palace in the Ternopil region.

Reference: Vyshnivets Palace is an architectural monument of the 18th century of national importance in the village of Vyshnivets, Ternopil region, built on the site of a 14th century defensive castle as the residence of the Vyshnivets princes, and later the Mnishek nobles. Honoré de Balzac, who visited the palace in 1848, called it a "little Versailles" for the luxury of its architecture, paintings, sculptures, and library.
