Lviv Art Gallery: "Ancient Mythology"

Lviv Television. The "Ancient Mythology" episode of the "Art Panorama" program from December 19, 1995 is dedicated to the images of ancient mythology in works of European art based on the materials of the exhibition from the funds of the Lviv Art Gallery, which was exhibited in the Lozynsky Palace.

On the video: a story about ancient myths and plots in the work of European artists from the 16th century to the 1930s; a museum exhibition, presenting works by Italian, Flemish, Austrian, German, Polish and other artists from the funds of the Lviv Art Gallery; close-up paintings; a story about the images of heroes of ancient mythology and their reflection in the visual arts; historical information about the artists and the features of their work.

Choreographic numbers were performed by soloists of the Ivan Franko Lviv State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Hanna Sapunkova and Serhiy Zelenkov.
