100th anniversary of the I. K. Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television

First National, 2004.This feature is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Ivan Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Cinema and Television, and covers the history of the establishment of this higher education institution and the celebrations marking the anniversary.

The video features: black-and-white footage of Kyiv; archive footage from the Second World War; the young actor Bohdan Stupka; excerpts from films starring Ivan Mykolaychuk; and a celebratory concert.

Commentary by: Volodymyr Artemenko, theatre, film and television actor and director; Kateryna Vyshneva, a second-year acting student; Serhiy Kravets, a fourth-year acting student.
