Chernivtsi Oblast, city of Kitsman. The program “Kalynovyi Ostrovy” is dedicated to the life and career of Bukovinian master Orest Morgoch, known for his violin-making. In the program, the subject talks about his family and his craftsmanship. The video shows the process of making a violin, and Orest Morgotch performs a piece of music on an instrument he made himself. He also talks about his passion for beekeeping and shows his own apiary and beehives. Filming takes place at the master’s home, in his workshop, and on his property.
