To the 90th anniversary of the poet Bohdan Igor Antonych

Chernivtsi State Television and Radio Company, 1999. The program "In the Beginning Was the Word" tells about the literary and musical event dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian poet Bohdan Igor Antonych.

On the video: pages of the publication with the artist's poems; Oleksandr Ponomarev's publication "Culture of the Word"; the book "My Favorite English Poems"; artist Oleksandr Ivakhnyuk reads poems by Bohdan Igor Antonych "Two Chapters from the Liturgy of Love", "Listen, the Wedding Tambourine Beats", "Three Rings"; edition of the magazine "October" (1964), which first published Antonych's poems and first published an article about his work from the archive of Mykhailo Ivasyuk; dedication inscription by Stepan Trofymuk - the author of the first publication about Bohdan Igor Antonych; song "Two Rings" (song by Volodymyr Ivasyuk, performed by Sofia Rotaru; recording on a record); composer Viktor Rurak performs his own song to the poem by Bohdan Igor Antonych "Momentum cum Deo (with God alone)"; performance by candidate of philological sciences Larisa Berezhan; poet, participant of the annual literary competition named after Bohdan Igor Antonych in Lviv, Oleksandr Dovbush, reads his own poems; laureate of the competition of young composers "Wandering Music", held by the Chernivtsi Regional Memorial Museum of Volodymyr Ivasyuk, Viktor Rurak Jr. performs a song based on Antonych's poem "Amen (Amen)".
