Artist Maria Bashkyrtseva

ODTRK "Ltava", 2006. The program "Gallery of Images" is dedicated to the work of the Ukrainian and French artist, sculptor Maria Bashkyrtseva and the preservation of her heritage.

On the video: quotes from the published diaries of Maria Bashkyrtseva (inscription in pre-revolutionary russian); research on the life and work of the artist (in russian); footage from the archival chronicle; images of Maria Bashkyrtseva's parents; an album of drawings; paintings "Spring", "Rain Umbrella", "Jean and Jacques"; sculpture Nausicaa.

Reference: Maria Bashkyrtseva is a Ukrainian and French artist, sculptor, writer, author of the second women's "Diary" published in France. The artist's mother transferred most of her works to russia, then at the request of the Ministry of Public Education of the Ukrainian SSR, the paintings were transferred to Ukraine.
