Sevastopol, August 1999. Report "UTN", special issue "Sevastopol, August, holiday" about the history and restoration of the Church of St. Volodymyr, the formation of the Ukrainian fleet and the celebration of the Day of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

The plot tells about the creation of the Ukrainian fleet on April 5, 1992, the beginning of the distribution of the Black Sea Fleet on January 10, 1996, and the events in the village of Chornomorske, where the Naval Flags of Ukraine were raised on four boats. It is about the first military exercises in history in 1996 and the establishment of the annual celebration of the Day of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

The central part of the report is dedicated to the celebration of the Naval Forces of Ukraine in Sevastopol. In the frame are warships, sailors, guests and representatives of the press. The speech of the President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma takes place, wreaths are placed on the water in memory of the fallen sailors. The award ceremony, military awards and the order book are shown. Separately, it is told about the transfer of apartments to military sailors, built at the expense of the city of Kyiv, and a house with a memorial plaque is shown. The report ends with a gala concert on the occasion of the celebration of the Naval Forces of Ukraine and a festive salute.
