Verteba Cave: secrets of "Transnistrian Pompeii"

June 8, 2004. Ternopil State Television and Radio Company. The program "In the TTB lens" tells about the Vertebu cave near the village of Bilche-Zolote, its history and archaeological finds. The cave is called "Transnistrian Pompeii".

The program talks about the finds of the Trypil culture, in particular the amulet of a farmer who lived more than 5 thousand years ago on the territory where the village of Bilche-Zolote is now located. They tell about the history of the amulet and its meaning.

In the video: the Verteba cave, archaeological finds and figures of people who recreate the lives of ancient inhabitants. They also tell about the Jewish community that hid in the cave during the Second World War.
