"Slovo": Day of Ukrainian writing and language

November 9, 2002. Transcarpathian State Television and Radio Company. The program "Slovo" is dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. The guests of the program talk about teaching the Ukrainian language and cultural studies, forming the language personality of the student, the attitude of students to the new educational subject and celebrating holidays dedicated to the Ukrainian language.

The cultural studies teacher of the Uzhhorod School of Culture, Vira Kuchmash, talks about the subject "cultural studies", its importance in modern life, the tragedy of the Ukrainian language and faith, the perception of a new subject by students and seminars at the educational institution. Alla Maidan, a Methodist teacher of the Ukrainian language at the "Grand" NEC, talks about working with students and forming the schoolboy's linguistic personality, as well as celebrating holidays dedicated to the Ukrainian language.

The program features poems dedicated to the Ukrainian language. Performed by students of the Uzhhorod School of Culture Tetyana Petakh, Natalka Gvozdak, Iryna Gleba, Olena David, Valentina Toroni, Vitaly Kolesova.
