
"Dmytro and "Svytyaz": the work of Dmytro Gershenzon

July 28, 1995. Lutsk. Volyn television. The program "Dmytro and "Svytyaz"" introduces the audience to the musician, arranger and musical director of the ensemble "Svytyaz" Dmytro Gershenzon.
The issue begins with a comment by People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Zinkevich about the musician's work, after which Dmytro Gershenzon himself talks about himself, his family, childhood memories, his favorite dish, the musician's work and his own work. The conversation is combined with footage of the artist's everyday work. In the recording studio, Dmytro Gershenzon plays the piano and records the vocals of Mykola Svidyuk. The work process of the sound recording is shown, as well as the joint performance of the song by Mykola Svidyuk and Dmytro Gershenzon.
The program features the following songs: Vyacheslav Khursenko's "Sokolyata", Anatoly Govoradl's "Donechka", Vasyl Zinkevich's "Two Colors" and Dmytro Gershenzon's "Steamers".
