" Flood. A year later: the consequences of the natural disaster in 2008

July 26, 2009. TVO "News" of the National Television Company of Ukraine. The movie "Flood". A year later" tells about the consequences of the flood, which at the end of July 2008 covered the western regions of Ukraine. The disaster destroyed houses and bridges, damaged roads and took people's lives. The film shows archival footage of floods, destroyed houses and yards, damaged roads and bridges, flooded areas and raging water flows.

Victims and local residents tell how they survived the elements, escaped from the water and arranged their lives after the flood. Villagers show damaged houses, farm buildings, destroyed bridges and temporary river crossings. Representatives of local authorities and farmers talk about the consequences of the disaster and the restoration of the affected areas.
