
In the House of Mannerheim: The Story of the Marshal and His Family

Count Karl Gustav Mannerheim, the nephew of the commander, tells about his ancestor. Filming takes place in the count's house, where he talks about the history of the family and shares memories of his ancestor. The material shows Helsinki, a historical chronicle, old family photos and the house where Mannerheim lived.
The video shows — rooms of Mannerheim's house in Helsinki, his regalia and awards, including an award from Hitler, as well as the marshal's personal belongings and family heirlooms. Paintings, hunting items and other objects related to the history of the family are shown. Among them are — skin of a tiger that Mannerheim shot while hunting.
