How the Singing Field Came to Be in Ternopil: Memories of Aron Rudyak

August 20, 2011. Ternopil Regional State Television and Radio Company. The program “In the Lens of TTB” covers the postwar reconstruction of Ternopil and the creation of the Singing Field. The program’s featured guest is Aron Rudyak, an engineer who participated in the reconstruction of Ternopil after World War II.

In the interview, Aron Rudyak recalls how he ended up in Ternopil and why he stayed there for decades. He explains where the idea to create the Singing Field came from, how its construction took place, and whether he is satisfied with the result.
