Drohobych in the late 1990s: the economy and problems of the city

June 16, 1999. Lviv Television. The program "Economics" tells about Drohobych and Stebnyk, their industrial potential, economic difficulties and social infrastructure. The focus is — on the state of industrial enterprises, unemployment, city budget problems, investment attraction, housing construction and financing of education and culture.

In the program: landscapes of Drohobych, urban infrastructure and industrial enterprises. The history of the city and the development of industry, the formation of the city budget, tax legislation, environmental problems, the reduction of ore production at the Stebnytskyi State Mining and Chemical Enterprise "Polymineral" and its restructuring. They also discuss the state of the housing stock, the possibilities of attracting funds for the construction and repair of housing, the operation of the pension fund and the purchasing power of the population.
