President Viktor Yushchenko speaks at a press conference about the problems of Ukraine's coal industry, and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych speaks in an interview about the possible causes of the accident.
There are also interviews with the wives of the dead and injured miners and the injured miner in hospital.
The accident at the Zasyadko mine occurred on November 18, 2007. An explosion of methane-air mixture occurred on a seam at the horizon of 1078 meters during the work. 101 miners were killed and dozens were injured.
This is not the first accident at this mine. Prior to this, tragic accidents occurred in September 2006 (13 miners were killed), July 2002 (20 miners were killed), August 2001 (55 people were killed), and May 1999 (50 miners were killed). After November 2007, accidents occurred at this mine in December 2007, January and March 2015.
