
The video shows the Central Election Commission (CEC) on February 8, 2010. Volodymyr Shapoval, the head of the CEC, tells about the results as of 11:00 a.m. in different regions of Ukraine, comparing the voting data of each region separately.
According to the results of processing 95.25% of the protocols, the opposition leader Viktor Yanukovych wins with 48.24%, Yulia Tymoshenko with 46.14%. Against both candidates voted 4.4% of citizens.
The 2010 presidential election in Ukraine took place on January 17. 18 candidates took part in the campaign. The winner was determined in the second round, which took place on February 7. The CEC declared Viktor Yanukovych the winner of the election, receiving 48.95% of the vote, while Yulia Tymoshenko received 45.47%.
