Klychko brothers: visit to a military lyceum

Wladimir Klitschko, the Olympic heavyweight boxing gold medalist, was born on March 25, 1976, in Semipalatinsk (now Semey), Kazakh SSR, to a military family.

He started boxing at the age of 13 and won the European junior championship in 1994. Wladimir Klitschko's professional career lasted from 1996 to 2016. During this time, he fought 69 fights and won 64 of them.

He won the world title in a fight with American Chris Byrd in the heavyweight category in October 2000.
