The 2019 presidential election in Ukraine was the seventh presidential election in the history of independent Ukraine. They were held in two rounds.
The first round took place on March 31, and out of 39 candidates, Volodymyr Zelenskyi with 30.24% of the vote and Petro Poroshenko with 15.95% made it to the second round.
April 21 was the second round of the presidential election, in which, according to exit polls, Volodymyr Zelenskyy received 73.22% of the vote and Petro Poroshenko 24.45%.
