Vasyl Zinkevych: interview on the radio, 1985

An exclusive interview with Vasyl Zinkevych on the Volyn Regional Radio, telling about his new song "Blossom, My Volyn". This is also the first time the song has been heard on Ukrainian radio.

Vasyl Zinkevych was born on May 1, 1945, in the village of Vaskivtsi, Khmelnytsky Oblast. He is a Ukrainian pop singer, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, Shevchenko Prize winner, Hero of Ukraine, and honorary citizen of Lutsk. Many of the songs he performs are included in the Golden Fund of Ukrainian music of the 20th century.

Vasyl Zinkevych was also a dancer and designer. Several of his dances were included in the Golden Fund of Ukrainian Art, and his costumes were exhibited at exhibitions in Paris.
