The video features the documentary Yevhen Paton: Generosity of Talent. It tells about the Institute of Electric Welding in Kyiv and its founder.

Yevhen Oskarovych Paton was a Ukrainian scientist in the field of welding processes and urban planning, academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, Honored Scientist, founder and first head of the Institute of Electric Welding, father of academician Borys Paton. He developed and implemented technology and equipment for welding special steels, in particular, for tank turrets. In 1953, the bridge across the Dnipro River, which was built under his leadership, was named after Yevhen Paton.
