Festival in Kherson: 2015

The seventeenth international theater festival “Melpomene of Tavria”. The video shows the streets of the city, the solemn procession of the groups, a theater performance, the audience, applause in the hall, posters.

“Melpomene of Tavria is an annual international theater festival held in Kherson in mid-June. It was founded in 1999. The festival aims to popularize theater, raise its profile, exchange experience between creative teams, and introduce the audience to musical theater premieres and the most interesting finds of theaters from different regions of Ukraine and other countries.
The festival is organized by the Mykola Kulish Kherson Regional Academic Music and Drama Theater and Festival Center LLC.

The seventeenth festival was held from May 23 to 30 under the motto: “In Search of Truth”. It was attended by 17 theaters from 4 countries: Georgia, Hungary, Portugal, and Ukraine. They presented 24 performances.
