“Alfa Jazz Fest” is a jazz music festival that has been held annually in Lviv in June since 2011. It is one of the largest jazz festivals in Europe. Traditionally, the festival was held on three stages: in the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Park of Culture and Recreation, on Rynok Square, and on the stage in the courtyard of the Potocki Palace.

In addition to concerts by jazz musicians from around the world, the festival featured jam sessions, master classes, and autograph sessions by world jazz stars.

In 2014, the fourth festival took place. It lasted from June 12 to 15. The headliners were Larry Carlton, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Eliane Elias, Miles Electric Band, Lucky Peterson, and Charles Lloyd. The festival was partially canceled in connection with the mourning announced in Ukraine on June 15 for the dead Ukrainian military at the hands of terrorists in the east of the country.

On the days of the festival in 2014, it was boycotted, pointing out that Alfa Bank, the title sponsor of the festival, is a Russian bank.
