This video is a program about the 43rd Molodist International Film Festival, the largest contemporary film festival in Ukraine. Until 2018, it was held annually in the last decade of October. The festival is considered one of the largest specialized film events in Ukraine and Eastern Europe according to the International Association of Film Producers.
In 2013, the festival lasted from October 19 to 27. That year, the organizers received a large number of applications to participate in Molodist - almost 1600 films from over 80 countries. Among them were 72 Ukrainian films.
In the interview, the festival participants - film directors, producers and cameramen - as well as the general director of Molodist IFF Andriy Khalpakhchi share their impressions of the festival, its competition program and contestants.
The program is hosted by film critic Serhiy Trymbach. The program uses fragments of the films participating in the festival.
