Myroslav Skoryk was born on July 13, 1938, in Lviv. He is an outstanding Ukrainian composer and musicologist, Hero of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine, National Legend of Ukraine (awarded in 2021, posthumously). Myroslav Skoryk died on June 1, 2020 in Kyiv. He was buried at Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.
The program was hosted by Oksana Gruzynska. Photos and video materials from Myroslav Skoryk's personal archive, fragments from his concerts, and footage from the films Butterfly Returns, Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors, High Pass, and the opera Moses are used.
