Ukrainian Popular Music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Part 1

This playlist was created in December 2023 by the staff of the House of Sound in Lviv - Bohdan Shumylovych, Pavlo Koryaha, and Andriy Bondarenko. It is a part of the art installation "Studio: The Space Where Ukrainian Pop Sounds". It is located in the former studio of Ihor Bilozir.

The playlist is compiled from Suspilne's archival recordings and contains 24 hits by such well-known bands as Smerichka, Arnika, Vatra, Medikus, Vysokyi Zamok, Braty Gadyukiny, and Skryabin, "Jeremiah's Lament", and performers - Sofia Rotaru, Oksana Bilozir, Nazariy Yaremchuk, Vasyl Zinkevych, Roman Tsys, Sister Vika, Taras Chubay, Oleksandr Ponomaryov, and Iryna Bilyk.

The material was digitized by the team of the "House of Sound" department of Lviv Radio with the assistance of the Department of Composition and the Problematic Research Laboratory of Musical Ethnology of the Mykola Lysenko National Music Academy.
