Day of Ukrainian Statehood: Khmelnytsky

Celebrating the Day of Ukrainian Statehood in Khmelnytskyi.

The video shows the flag-raising, presentation of state awards to the military, a speech by the head of the Khmelnytsky Regional Military Administration Serhiy Tyurin, and comments by local historian Serhiy Yesyunin and writer Volodymyr Lukianchuk.

The national holiday, the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, was established on August 24, 2021, by a decree of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and is celebrated annually on July 15, the day of the baptism of Kyivan Rus.
