Found woodcuts by Nilo Hasevich

Unedited video about the found wood carvings of Nilo Khasevich in the village of Rozvazh, Rivne region, August 26, 2022. Historian Mykola Bendyuk talks about the engravings.

Nil Khasevych is a Ukrainian artist and politician, a knight of the Silver Cross of Merit and the medal "For the struggle in particularly difficult conditions". He was born on November 26, 1905 in the Rivne region. Studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts. For ten years, he worked in the underground of the OUN, managing the printing press of the rebels and creating illustrations for UPA magazines. Died on March 4, 1952 in a bunker near Sukhivtsi in Volyn.
