2004, 141 min

The video shows a concert on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Honored Academic and Popular Music Orchestra of Ukrainian Radio.

For reference: The Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra is one of the oldest symphony orchestras in Europe. It is based and records in one of the largest studios in Europe - the Great Concert Studio of the Ukrainian Radio Recording House. More than 10 thousand recordings of symphonic music have been made there for the Ukrainian Radio Foundation.

The orchestra's live broadcasts and recordings are broadcast on Radio Kultura, the First Channel of the Ukrainian Radio, and on the UA:Kultura TV channel, as well as on foreign radio stations.

The orchestra's history began on October 5, 1929, in Kharkiv (then the capital of Ukraine). That was the first public performance of the newly created Ukrainian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Since 2017, after the establishment of the National Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine, the orchestra has been renamed the Symphony Orchestra of Ukrainian Radio. It is one of the three oldest radio orchestras in Europe, having been established in 1929 as the third in Europe.
