Background: On August 27, 1856, Ivan Franko was born in the village of Naguyevichi - doctor of philosophy, Ukrainian writer, translator, playwright and political figure.
Ivan Franko is the co-founder of the magazine "Public Friend" and the Russian-Ukrainian Radical Party. He was active in journalism and publishing, published in many Ukrainian, Polish and Austrian magazines, was a member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. He died on May 28, 1916, and was buried at the Lychakiv cemetery in Lviv.
