Raising the flag of Ukraine over the Town Hall, 1990

Reference: On April 3, 1990, the Lviv City Council decided to officially raise the blue and yellow flag over the City Hall. This decision was the first of its kind in Ukraine at the official level and symbolized the desire for national revival and independence.
