For reference: On October 10, 2022, Russian troops launched the first massive missile strike on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as well as the largest missile strike on the entire territory of Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The Russians used air-, sea-, and ground-launched cruise missiles, ballistic missiles, anti-aircraft guided missiles, reconnaissance and strike UAVs.
The shelling killed 23 people and wounded 105. As of 11 a.m. on October 10, 11 important infrastructure facilities in 8 regions and the city of Kyiv were damaged as a result of the strikes. Some regions are without electricity. Ukrenergo reported that there may be power outages in some cities and towns across the country.
