Performance “Melancholy Waltz”

Chernivtsi, Dmytro Hnatiuk Regional Philharmonic. The video is a TV version of the performance based on the short story by Olga Kobylianska “Melancholic Waltz”.

The main roles are played by: Sofia - Lilia Kholomeniuk, an artist of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic; Hanna - Mariana Ukrainets, an artist of the Bukovyna Song and Dance Ensemble of the Chernivtsi Philharmonic; Martukha - Svitlana Mateychuk, a TV presenter. The musical accompaniment of the performance is provided by the artists of the Chernivtsi Philharmonic: Ulyana Rusu (violin) and Iryna Kozlova (piano).

The TV version of the performance was recorded by the Suspilne Chernivtsi team: director Yulia Milimonko, cameramen Roman Pilatyk, Vasyl Hryhoriak and Vasyl Mykolaishyn, sound engineer Serhiy Holyk, engineers Andriy Polishchuk and Edgar Dintu, and line producer Olesya Zhuk.

The performance featured music by J.S. Bach, F. Kresler, the Mikulich Sisters, and F. Chopin.
