90th anniversary of Kharkiv University of Arts

Radio program in the evening studio “Lira”, November 22, 2007. The program is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Kharkiv State University of Arts, named after Ivan Kotlyarevsky.

The studio's guest is Maryna Cherkashyna-Gubarenko, a former graduate, Doctor of Art History, and professor at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy. They talk about the institution's founding teachers, its school of composition, its foundation of music education, and its connection with the Union of Composers.

The program features fragments of works by prominent alums and teachers of the university.
