Ternopil, December 26, 2013. The program “Lost in Time”. In the video: the largest eight-meter didukh in the region in the Ternopil Academic Regional Drama Theater named after Taras Shevchenko.

The features of didukh in Ukrainian traditions are described by Maria Hermaniuk, head of the folk art group of the Skala-Podilskyi Children's Park; Valentyna Stefyna, head of the Floristics and Phytodesign group of the Skala-Podilskyi Children's Park; and Yaroslav Osadtsa, head of the regional center for ecological and naturalistic creativity.

Reference: Didukh is a traditional ritual sheaf and Christmas decoration. It is considered a symbol of a new harvest, prosperity, and ancestors. In Ukraine, the ritual didukh was traditionally made from a sheaf of cranberries or raisins on Christmas Eve.
