Note: Every year on July 15, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Peacekeepers. This day was established by the Verkhovna Rada in 2013. The date was chosen in honor of Ukraine's first participation in a peacekeeping operation in Bosnia on July 15, 1992. That was the beginning of the history of Ukrainian peacekeepers' participation in international operations.
