Reference: On January 6, 2019, in Istanbul, Metropolitan Epiphany received the Tomos on the autocephaly of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine during the liturgy with the Ecumenical Patriarch. The next day, the document was brought to Ukraine and demonstrated in the Cathedral of St. Sophia. On January 9, members of the Synod of the Church of Constantinople signed the Tomos at their meeting.
