1025th Anniversary of the Baptism of Rus: Government Meeting

Preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus. The meeting of the organizing committee is chaired by the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

The meeting is attended by: the head of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Methodius (in peace Valery Kudryakov); the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Supreme Archbishop of Kyiv-Halych, Metropolitan of Kyiv His Beatitude Sviatoslav (Shevchuk); the head of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate with the title of Metropolitan of Kyiv and All Ukraine Volodymyr (in peace Viktor Sabodan); the Archbishop ad personam Ordinary of the Kyiv-Zhytomyr Diocese of the Roman Catholic Church Petro Herkulian Malchuk.
