The exhibition in the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine is dedicated to the monuments of Greco-Scythian art from the collection of the National Museum of History of Ukraine.

Among the antiquities presented is a unique Scythian sword with a gold scabbard of the 4th century BC, which returned to Ukraine in 2014.

Note: The return of exhibits from the Scythian gold collection to Ukraine was the result of a long legal process that began after Russia, through the occupation of Crimea, tried to appropriate cultural values belonging to Ukraine. Thus, the collection was taken to the Netherlands for exhibition, and after the annexation of Crimea, Russia tried to return it to the occupied Crimea. However, in 2014, the Amsterdam court ruled that the exhibits belong to Ukraine, and this decision was confirmed by the Court of Appeal in 2021. The Supreme Court of the Netherlands finally confirmed Ukraine's right to this collection in June 2023, transferring the exhibits to the National Museum of the History of Ukraine and recognizing them as part of the cultural heritage of independent Ukraine.
