President Kuchma opens ammunition recycling plant

The airport in Pryluky, President Leonid Kuchma gets off the plane and is met by the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force Volodymyr Antonets.
President Leonid Kuchma, Defense Minister Valeriy Shmarov, US Ambassador to Ukraine William Green Miller, Chernihiv Regional Council Chairman Dmytro Shapoval, and other officials open an ammunition demilitarization facility near the town of Ichnia. The facility will be used to dispose of ammunition that has expired, as well as shells that are stored in inappropriate conditions.
