Reference: Vasyl Vasylko (Milyaev) — Ukrainian director, actor and teacher, People's Artist of the USSR (1944). He was one of the founders of the State Museum of Theater, Music and Cinema of the Ukrainian SSR in Kyiv (1924) and actively worked in the theater, in particular in Les Kurbas's "Berezil". Vasylko performed in numerous roles, in particular in "Haydamaky" and "Ivan Gus", and also headed the Traveling Theater "Kamenyary" in 1922–1923. His work significantly influenced the development of Ukrainian theater art.
