Reference: Paraska Ambrosiy is a Ukrainian folk poet, author of numerous poetry collections, including “Bukovynski spivanka” and “Kvituje moya Bukovyna”. She worked under the influence of Ukrainian folklore and classics of Ukrainian literature, including Taras Shevchenko, Yuriy Fedkovych and Ivan Franko. Her poetry is distinguished by the use of folk-poetic motifs, and many poems have been translated into different languages.
