Reference: Stella Zakharova is a Ukrainian gymnast, an Olympic champion as a member of the USSR national gymnastics team. The most successful year for Zakharova was 1979, during which she won the individual championship at the American Cup and the World Cup. In 1980, she won gold with the team at the Moscow Olympics and won her second title of absolute champion at the World Cup.
