“Berezil”: Les Kurbas Theater

The video shows the Kharkiv State Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater named after Taras Shevchenko “Berezil”, founded by Ukrainian director and actor Les Kurbas. A sign with the inscription “Quiet! There is a performance”, a box with attributes, actors playing on stage, an auditorium, a paper appeal of the theater staff to political parties due to the emergency state of the theater building: collapsed plaster, bricks, cracks. The facade of the theater, memorial plaques to Leonid Bykov, Marian Krushelnytsky, and Les Kurbas.
